The NYC Audubon Bird Count just got more fun!
For the first time, NYC Audubon is happy to present an activities page for Count Day! As birders flock to our Manhattan green spaces to take part in the 124th Audubon Christmas Bird Count, find games and competitions below to make this year better than ever! Submit and win prizes in our CBC Photo Competition, or try your luck at Bird Bingo and our Christmas Bird Count Crossword.

Photo Competition
For the first time ever, NYC Audubon is hosting a Christmas Bird Count photo competition! We have four categories with fabulous prizes for each, and the grand winner for "Best Bird" will land in our January eGret eNewsletter!
Categories include:
- Best Bird Photo
- Worst Bird Photo
- Most Jolly
- True New York Moment
To participate, post your photos on Instagram/Instagram stories, Facebook, or X/Twitter and tag @nycaudubon. You can also email your photos to ChristmasBirdCount@nycaudubon.org. Submit your Christmas Bird Count photos by December 27, 2023, to qualify.
By submitting to this competition, you are consenting to NYC Audubon’s use of your work on social media, web pages, or other promotional materials. Photographers will always be credited for their work.
